Nihilism Today!

Jedan od boljih opisa nihilizma. Ko je citao Dostojevskog shvatice. I da , tek sad a proslo je skoro 20 godina od kako sam citao Kamija ( nekad bila obavezna lektira ) sam povezo Kamija sa nihilizmom. Ili sam zaboravio sta je profesorka pricala o knjizi, mada se savrseno secam, osecaja beznadeznosti pri citanju njegovor romana. Nista bolje ni sa Kafkinim Procesom. Kafka je bio upecatljiviji, ko zna sta bi jos iznedrio. Prokleta tuberkuloza.

Nihilism is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing
can be known or communicated. It is often associated with extreme pessimism
and a radical skepticism that condemns existence.
While nihilism is often discussed in terms of extreme skepticism and
relativism, for most of the 20th century it has been associated with the
belief that life is meaningless.
Camus was fully aware of the pitfalls of defining existence without
meaning,
he describes at length how metaphysical
collapse often ends in total negation and the victory of nihilism, characterized
by profound hatred, pathological destruction, and incalculable violence
and death.
"nihilist" is used to characterize the postmodern man, a dehumanized
conformist, alienated, indifferent, and baffled, directing psychological
energy into hedonistic narcissism or into a deep ressentiment that
often explodes in violence.
